Thanks for the info the other thing I'd like to ask you is what have you kept the engine leaned like it is in the original car is it for height issues or what and how much does it stick out the bottom if I may ask and are you using the original gearbox . Is it possible to lay the engine straight instead of leaning

At the time, I just wanted to fit the engine the same way as it lay in the 200SX
You could have it level but you will have to take into account the gearbox will angle off centre and the oil pan will not be level (could overcome that with shortened oil pan)....doing this will give you clearance on the bonnet/plenum, you will see with my car it needed a bulge of some sorts to clear

Ok cool . So I'm thinking of fitting it straight not sure how the gear leaver will be maybe I have to modify some way. You don't by any chance have a pic of the gearbox when it's laying on the floor would like to see how the leaver leans

If it was me Ricky I would take gear lever out and heat a point a bit further up from where it exits the gearbox then bend it anti clockwise by the same angle you need to rotate the engine by, just been and checked the angle of mine and it is 11.7° off the horizontal
