First run today went well, I can't believe how a homemade car can handle so well and feel like a production car. Just a few under bonnet adjustments to increase the cooling when standing.
Going to try and relocate the induction cone and add a few vents to the bonnet to help the heat escape. All in all a good day.

With confidence building, a helmet, some cutting away surplus material below the scoop, and the addition of 9 Nr 35 mm holes in each side of the alloy panels, I was brave enough to head onto the main road.
Temperatures where significantly reduced, although oil was up to 98 degrees at traffic lights. Is this an acceptable range for normal road use. Alarmingly, the oil pressure warning flashed a few times, but levels where fine. I am putting this down to a bad sensor and look to order a new one.
