Wow! Progress overdose!!
When did you start working on it? Trying to guage if you're crazy fast or just 3 years worth of work

Don't forget the diff mounting problems that've been brought to light recently before you get too much further. Can't see from the pics if yours is solid mounted...

Yeah it's a VSS but not for the speedo as that's what the cable is for . Provides roadspeed data to the ECU.

Started work on it around end of April, but i've had a baby (well, not me personally - credit goes to the wife there) and an operation that no man ever looks forward to, so those combined took me out the equation for a month!

Luckily, I co-own a steel fab shop, so the chassis was built there around our current workload, but now its my weekend tinker in the garage.

Oscar - im a bit of both. once I get my teeth into something, im non stop.....until money runs out!!! Been playing with cars for 15 odd years, helped built a narrowboat, so this is a natural progression.
The cars not in its final build stage yet. Its being 'dry run' before its sent for treatment and powdercoat - don't want to ruin the coating with an 'I forgot to weld that bit'

Twinturbo - I would of though something like that, but theres 3 cables, one goes to earth, 1 goes to ignition, and one just ends! the cable had been modified, as around 5ft of cable was stuffed under the carpets!

Welcome; hopefully you didn't throw those chequered floor mats out - they're worth a few quid. That body shell looks tidy as well...

The mark 1 speedo cable should be mechanical, but it looks like you have a Eunos, so I guess it's a speedo healer.
