Default Bits for the build you forgot about .....

Ok - bit of an odd question thsi but I'm putting together my shopping list of things to keep an eye out for at stoneleigh - for example fuel hose, bits of trim, brake fittings etc

Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on bits they didn't realise they would need.

Hope that makes some sense

Bu**er - missed propshaft, wheels, tyres and bodywork off that list

Glad the list has been helpful for some people. I hate getting to doing a job then realising I am missing the one vital component that will take a week by the royal snail to arrive.

I keep wondering how people used to do it for £250 - mine is rapidly heading towards the £3K mark and wanting to do a burnout past it! But then again I have decided to build the car I want where possible, with the bits I want and to make everything nice and tidy so that it is basically a new car. I don't think you can put a price on the satisfaction you get from the build - or the smile when you open the garage and look at the car you are building.
