Default Build table needs a home

As title, the chassis has come off the build table and is now resting on some home made trestles. I now need to be rid of the table. It's free to anyone who wants to pick it up but I don't want to be falling over the bits forever so want rid as quick as possible. It's dismantled but I've marked all the pieces so it can be easily assembled again. I'll even chuck in all the screws I've took out.

I'm also selling my chop saw. Paid £80 for it. It's up for sale at £40.

Saw that mate but bought a diesel some time ago so just need engine and box now. Decided to look out for a pre 95 zetec. Bloke who bought the diesel box is on the FSOC forum and says he'll sell me a type 9. Hopefully have a rolling chassis soon.

Hi Gaz

Don't forget to include the Escort Mk5 from your search for a pre 95 Zetec engine ( Well that's if you dont mind a 1.8 )

Early Zetec engined Escorts can be had for not a lot of money .... Whip the engine out & weigh the rest in for scrap

The 1.8 escort is my first choice Bonzo. Be nice if I could get hold of a 130bhp cabby motor

Nice one Gaz

I have read that a 2 litre throttle body, injectors & cams will get the standard 1.8 engine up to 130 BHP.

No idea if this is actual fact or if the 130 BHP ECU would be needed !!??

May be worth some more research though .... Perhaps TT will know if it is fact based

Not tooooo hot on the 130PS upgrade,

the Fiesta RS1800 uses the same 1.8 and management as the XR3i 130 but I doubt you will ever find a RS18K for breaking money now..

why worry too much, get what you can and plan for a blacktop on megasquirt'ed boddies down the line

Yeh Not too bothered what I end up with. I run a 1.6 90ps escort as a second car and imagine it would power the roadster pretty well. Haven't decided on ignition/fuelling yet but not ruling out original ECU and loom.

Rule in 99% the original ECU and loom.

The EEC-IV is a good unit.
