Default Seat mount positions for KPD seats?

I want to weld the seat mounts into the chassis soon.
I'm planning to use kit parts direct seats and universal runners, however I don't want to have to buy them yet...
Is anyone else using them? and if so could you let me know how you've mounted them, with dimensions etc please.
Thanks

Are KPD still alive? They don't seem to have any listings on ebay any more and their website still says merry xmas at the top!

What other reasonably priced seats will fit the roadster?

The KPD seats are cheap for a reason, they are made cheap and flex so not much use when you "going for it" on HRH's Highways. Your car will feel like it's got a punctured rear tyre.

Yes I'm biased towards Triton seats,(www.tritonraceseats.com ) after all it is my daughter but they are made in a such a way they don't flex and are able to stand alone in production cars with no extra supports needed.

Triton seats have been in production for the last six years and they supply a few Kit Firms these days.

Yer pays yer money etc etc

I'm already aware of triton seats, and whilst I would love a pair I don't want to pay that much for seats if I can help it!
I'm sure they're great quality and worth every penny and all that, just not sure I've got the budget for them

As you know I've modded the mx seats but I fancy these for a cheap light weight supportive seat

Clicky

Not cheap when you consider the padding to make them more bearable makes them £150 each then you still need side mount brackets to fit them to your car.

Well I'm more worried about falling out the side of the car if I spin it than comfort. So mx seats for comfort for me and tin bucket seat for cheap secure seat, plus my hips aren't much narrower than the space available so there's not much of an option for me. I'm a Rugby build, I think they call it!
