Default 2.0 Doner

I have just collected my doner, a very tidy 2.0 EFI pinto with 165000Km on the clock and a service history all the way to 140000. The engine runs like a dream the only problem I have found is a small oil leak around the rocker cover.

Most leak all over the place due to lack of maintenance on the breather.

Same goes for a lot of engines, breathers are often overlooked.

Pinto engines are very prone to leaking arround the rocker cover.

They use a cork gasket & are often over / incorrectly tightened

Fit a new gasket & all should be well

yep, probably about 14LBft will do, which is just nipped up. Any more and you crush the gasket and risk warping the rocker cover.
