Pivot bolts
Right, stupid question time.
Pivot bolts for everything from pedals to wishbones. Shouldn't the pivot bolts have a shank (no thread) where they interface with the bush? If so, where do you source them so there is the right length of shank/thread? Sorry in advance for my ignorance / stupidity. |

If you order the correct length they normally have a plain shank on them. It will normally specify this in the description. The eBay seller 'Kay's' are excellent. Free delivery and normally the next day. |

If you want plated bolts for long-life, make sure they are mechanically plated not electro-plated as electro-plating can cause hydrogen embritlement on bolts grade 10.9 and above.
