Default How do i wire this capri dash up

Hi all, still trying to find out about the wiring for the capri rev counter i have. This is the pic of the back where the 3 connectors/nuts are, all i need to know is where to connect the wires on the car running a 2l pinto, i am only using the rev counter aswell with speedo so i am not using the loom or plug

Please can anyone help, i dont want to mess about as i dont want to damage it.

I probably can't help much but I'm guessing those colour markings are not referring to the 3 connectors you need?
As far as I'm aware it will need a positive, negative and a feed from coil.

brown is usually + fused permanent live on a ford

an old haynes manual will be your best place to look

The colours marked on the back are the colour wires on the connector plug, all i have found is that the green goes to - coil, the others i dont know, i have a haynes skematic diagram that some body gave me but we cant find the rev counter on it.
So if the green is the coil- then i need an chassis earth and a ign + ??
