Just wondering...........carpet ?
Has anyone double skinned a floor and carpeted an interior yet ?...just a thought i had today at work whilst assembling some Ailerons i should have been concentrating but my mind was wandering.........

I don't know why you'd want to double skin it, a bit of a waste me things. Nothing to stop you carpeting as is.

Yes, I have thought about double skinning my floor with thin aly sheet and filling the gap with Kingspan insulation to cut down on road debris noise.

iv got some thick expanded rubber foam on the inside of the side pannel area to act as a bit of crash protection ( avin a laugh really but beter than nowt). Its the same stuff thats used on the walls inside horseboxes. Quite expensive but i pinched it off my missus.
