Single Seater Steering Rack

Just found out a little info that might interest a few people thinking about doing a single seater kit car.

The Fiat Cinquecento steering rack is 16 inches wide (406mm for new folk like me

and a car called Aixam (which is comically hideous) has a steering rack of 15 inches or 381mm - apparently.

I asked a guy on ebay to measure the rack for me but the measurements sound about right.
