Default Engine mounts

Hi all.
Just got my engine positioned in my chassis.
I have welded some 5mm plate on to the chassis, I also have two more 5mm plates for the engine and for on top of the land rover engine mounts.
Im thinking of using some box section cut at angles to join the mounts to the engine.

I have some 40mm x 40mm x 3mm box section laying about, will this be man enough? Or would it be best to get some 5mm thick box section?

Tiger use 50 mm tube 16 swg thick on their engine mounts which is 1.626 mm thick so 3 mm should be ok
