Default throttle pedal linkage

may have posted in the wrong place so will post here

how do i fit the throttle cable to the pedal ? any pics would be good too

Here's how I've done it. 3mm plates with a 2 mm gap, cable end soldered into a piece of a 6 mm rod. (Mondeo original cable nib on this photo)

good idea i was going to use a clevis pin on to the bracket and then thread a 6mm threaded rod into the clevis pin long enough to go through the wall and little tube that is welded on the other side screw on another clevis pin with the cable soldered on to that. the reason for the long threaded bar was to keep the cable from rubbing inside the little tube.but yours seem to be a better job many thanks
