Default What a difference some paint makes...

Work got cancelled today due to snow. Which means I finally had a bit of time to do some on the build - it's been about a month since i've touched it!

So I started refurbing the wheels. They look so much better now...

Best bit so far: Getting it running
Worst bit so far: Cutting steel for wishbones and engine mounts.
Most annoying bit so far: Generator packing up half way through welding.

Very nice David, just goes to show you don't need to spend 500 quid on nice new alloys.

This time of year is great if you've got a project on the go. I work outside so plenty of time over winter to hide in the garage on days we can't work.

What paint/colour did you use? I love that sort of anthracite colour, intend on using it on my car where I can and was thinking similar for my wheels!
Looks great!

Very nice David,

I had some cleaned up and sprayed black and it transformed a £40 set of alloys into some really nice wheels.
