Wiring colour ID
Hi Guys.
Was out yesterday sorting the engine bay wiring. Found a plain Blue wire, can't seem to find were it goes. It's got a stud connector on the end, if anyone thinks they know. It's a 2.0efi Pinto BTW Looked in the book for insperation...... OK question: In the wiring diagram, is BL, Blue or Black? I assumed it was Blue, thinking Black may be BK but can't find a colour code. So secondry Question, Anyone know or have a colour ID code. Also see a lot marked SW..... The only thing I can think of is Sh1t White

The gospel according to St Haynes
Just been having a look at the Haynes manual David
In the engine bay on models circa 1989, the Blue wire goes to the alternator .... Warning light, by the looks of it !! Can't find any reference to SW in the colour codes ?? .... This term quite often used to denote Switch ( In electrical speak ) Here's the Haynes Colour codes B = Blue BK = Black Bn = Brown GN = Green R = Red RS = Pink S = Grey V = Violet W = White Y = Yellow That's the best info that I can find mate
