Default for every bad day there is a good one

after yesterdays drama with the fuel tank i had a nice surprise tonight. i went out to make the modified alternator mount. curosity got the better of me and i wanted to see what the problem was with the old one. low and behold the alternator fits in the bay on the standard mount.

has saved me a good bit of time and faffing about.

im guessing the 1.6 isnt as wide as a 1.8/2.0

here is a picture for proof!!
