Default Zetec inlet manifold

Tried the inlet manifold from the mondeo silvertop zetec I've got and it sticks out from the engine far enough to foul the steering column. Anyone got any suggestions as to one which doesn't stick out so far. Is it possible to fit one from a blacktop?

Don't really want to go for a fabbed/one off because I want to use stock ECU etc.

Cheers Adrian. Spent ages looking at them last night on LCB. Think I'll look into making my one. First thing I think might be to try to find a sandwich plate with injector holes for an early escort. I just sold one two weeks ago
Didn't think I would need it.
