Default Hazard light switch

Right I could do with a little bit of help. Iv bought one of those nice billet aloy switches. The problem I got is the lighting up of the switch when it's out it is lit up and the hazards off push it in the hazards come on as expected but the light on the switch go's off basically a bit back to front and I can't work it out any advise would be helpful

I don't know anything about that actual switch but it sounds like it's a change over switch where you have a common and it makes contact too 2 seperate connections you would need to leave one of the connections bare and just use the common and the other one if you know what I mean

Regards Mick.

My advise! Don't buy the brake warning light test switch! I still could't tell you how i got that working correctly.

iirc you should have a constant 12v to pin 1, even with key out the ignition. Then pin 2 goes to your indicator/hazard relay and also to the positive terminal of the led in the switch and then the neg led pin goes to earth.
