Default puma 1.7 to type nine?

Anyone know if the yamaha 1.7 puma engine will mate up to a type nine with a standard bell housing? My mate has a crashed racing puma going cheap and from memory it was bloody quick and 150bhp as standard. Just a thought for my dads build.

The Sigma engine does not fit any standard ford RWD box.
