Default rear disc conversion from drums setup?

i have a low ratio lsd im in the prosess of fitting in replacing my push fit rear "open" diff and to cut a long story short it was cheaper and easyer to switch over to bolt on lobro style drive shafts from a disc brake sierra to do this, as the push shafts i had where not sutable to hybrid over.
i found a local guy braking his xr4x4i and got a set of shafts, flanges, stubs and hubs from him and as he had a set of there calipers got them at the same time to make life easy.

now i built my rear uprights as book for a drum setup so no good for fitting calipers to. i could make up or buy a new set of uprights?

or cut the lugs off the hubs and refit my drums (i hear this works) possibly converting to discs later on some how

or make up some new way of attching the calipers to the uprights.

anyone here had any experince of this?

Easy way is to make up bracket that bolts to wheel bearing housing instead of new uprights, adjust the angle to fit between the top of the upright and lower arm.

You don't need to add any thing to your uprights you already have all the parts.
Take one work mate/vice, angle grinder with cutting disk and goggles.
Cut both RU8's off the uprights and clean off welds and uprights.
Tac RU8's the correct way round using the bearing carrier with the caliper in place to check clearance.
Use an 8mm drill as a center dot, TAP IT don't smack it!
Mark each part and cut through tacs.
Drill both RU7's with pilot holes then 11-12mm clearance holes depending how close the other holes are.
Weld back together and paint for that I was never here finish.
Cost's nothing...
