Default master cylinder

OH another problem

wanted to have a brake pipe going to each wheel , so i bought a master cylinder from a sierra that had disc brakes all round , asked the mecanic he said brill that is good.
master cylinder just arrived wow it is a little big has anyone fitted one before could give me a few tips

It has been a while since I Have done this, the two ports at the front one goes to the o/s and the other to n/s the one at the back to the rear spiliting with the T-piece going to the r/n/s & r/o/s.

I hope this is of some help and some else can correct me if I am wrong!!!!

Not got an ABS one have you?

The all sierras use the same single circuit to the rear and split left & right front. There is no sierra with a 4 way split.

Hi There
No ABS, what I have tried to say was three ports. 2 for the front and 1 for the back, correct me if I am Wrong?

Exactly the same that came off my Granada Scorpio...its got the servo and ABS System attached to it....mines going on Ebay along with the Brain totry and raise enough money for the one quoted previously ..

That master cylinder setup will be no good to you. You want one from a non ABS sierra. Have a look on ebay you can sometimes pick them up second hand quite cheaply.

New M/C are only about £30, well they were when my car got a new one earlier this year.

can you remember where you got it from Andy? I need the same set-up as noted above (3 port) and I'm looking at £80+ for an m/c (all round discs) so will be getting that unless you can direct me to the 30 quid supplier
