Front shock bracket mounting?
Is there any trick to mounting these 2?
Or is it just careful measurement? Cheers Will |

Do you have the wishbones made? If so the easiest way is to assemble the parts use either the shocks or some dummy bars and put the shock bracket on the end of them and lift the wishbone up till the bracket hits the chassis.

mmm... Can anyone tell me if these top suspension brackets look ok? From the book the centre of the bracket is 83.5mm from the front jig thats what it is but i thought it would sit more on the tube!

That's definitely different to how mine is, mine sits more over the chassis tube, mine looks how it looks in the book.

Definately looks wrong.Had a similar problem myself. When u set the jig up to position the bracket you need to make sure the jig is square and upright.Looks to me like you need to check your jig is upright.

i had a set square at the base, unless its warped somehow. both suspension brackets are identical though.
Driving me crazy this!!! |

Are BR1 and BR2 meeting the front frame squarely? There seems to be a rather large gap in your photo.
