Default Just a little inspiration

HI All

Just a little inspiration for all of my fellow builders .
Just came home from driving around all day.
Started with a meat in Chelmsford with the Essex kit car club. Good turn out and lots to talk about with other like minded people.
Nice drive home some motorway, but more enjoyable back country lanes.
Dare I say had a play in a local industrial car park, SAY NO MORE. But very juvenile. Covered 120 miles, back to the garage, opened a bear , fiddled and cleaned car. Enjoyed every minute.

The back roads round Essex or Essix as it's pronouced rand ere is proper Roadster country with the 'B' in B road standing for blast. The little roads between chelmsford and Bradwell being popular with bikers , hot hatches and unfortunatly plod use it to train their pursuit drivers in unmarked Vauxhalls! Word of warning A13 new section keep an eye out for a BMW M3 57 plate silver it has blue lights behind the grill!!!

Which new section of the A13 - I only ask because I was one of the designers for the section between Leamouth Road junction (all my work) and Woolwich Manor way when the whole thing was widened a few years back.

New A13 comes from Rettendon turnpike up to A12 and A127 . It's good for about 120mph plus in some places but have to back off as the wind gets up abit over the ridge, not that I've ever done that officer.

Ahh, well into Essix Boooy territory that is.

The new bridge over the old Ironbridge in Canning town is good fun So is the second tunnel of the East India Dock.

They built both tunnels at the same time, and sealed one off until a few years back. A bit of forward planning that actually worked
