Brake pipe tab placement
Wheres the best place to put the little brake pipe taps on the chassis?
I'll be running drums on the rear. I think the book location for the fronts looks ok not sure about the rear, do I need a tab on the rear upright also? Mike

Yes, use a bulkhead fitting and go through the side panel.

Ally panels would be less flexible than glass and would be tempted to reinforce glass panel with ally at the rear of the panel and large washer at the front as Mark says with bulkhead fitting.

HI guys, why is it that the bracket doesn"t pass iva surely it would be stronger than either panels?

It's not the bracket the problem, the flexi pipe is not allowed to touch the edge of the hole on full lock each way. So you would have to put in a very big hole.

Think we need some photo's of this.
I don't like the idea of fixing the piper to a thin side panel just doesn't seem right. surely if the tab is very close to teh side panel you wouldn't need a big hole. A few pictures might help or maybe I'm just being thick tonight
