HI,
I plan to put a towing eye on, well a plate with nuts welded on top side and the plate weleded to the underside of FF1 and BR7 to suit this type of towing eye: http://www.motorsporttrader.com/en/a...wing_eye_.html I would then use bolts with a lug on top (a bit like a wing nut but a bolt) Hope this helps Dean

I was just concerned about the strength of the chassis at the front and wether it would need reinforcing

that would be up to you, with my mates robin hood, all he uses is a long 1tonne strop wrapped around the front lower wishbones but only to get him out of difficulty not for a long tow.
as for reinforcment i'm going to put a bit of 25x25 box from FF1 to BR7 in the centre. but thats my preference. hope it helps? Dean

the chassis is plenty strong enough as long as you dont intend to suspend the car in the air from it. but then again i bet the chassis would still be strong enough to do that as well. 1 inch of weld will hold 1 tonne as a rough guide.
