Default B&Q Steel Tube

Hi All.

Before I start welding HandyAndy's chassis together I want to practise.
Has anyone used B&Q steel?

Thanks

Pete

It would be fine to use for that purpose but its an expensive way to practice

Im sure if you try hard enough you will find some scrap metal from somewhere to play with

Hi Pete,

as others have said , that will be fine to practice on but not cheap,
nearly £9 per mtr, wow i need to put my prices up ,

how about finding a local scrap dealer, i,m sure they,ll let you have some scraps of steel for some biscuit jar funds
or some old railings etc from the garden

tho you are correct to practice , tho don,t forget if you do make a mistake you know where i am for a replacement bit,

If anyone with one of my chassis kits needs a replacement part due to a mistake being made, i,m happy to supply a replacement part for the cost of postage.

cheers
andy
