Default how to link the throttle cable to carbs

Hello All
Bit stuck on this part,i have the cable fitted to the pedal and ran it through the bulkhead and over the rocker cover on over to the r1 carbs , and this is where i have come unstuck ,left with a bit of cable and the problem i have is how do i take the slack out of it ,do i cut the cable back or should i leave it long and tie it off to take up the slack

I'd say shorten the cable and solder a new nipple onto the end of the cable, there are videos on youtube of people showing you how to do it. It should give you a much neater layout.

Run some solder onto the cable once you have the correct length and this will stop it opening up when you cut it.

Or use a solderless nipple on the pedal end

Car Builder Solutions, Demon Tweeks, Rally Design, eBay,
All these will sell solder less nipples , ferules and other stuff.
I bought a complete universal cable kit from the bay, many just use push bike stuff.
