I went to the IVA launch meet and there was no mention of the side repeaters needing to be in the cycle wings, in fact the SVA and IVA are virtually word for word in the manuals.

Extract regarding fuel fillers -
13. Any fuel filler neck or vent must not allow spilt fuel to be able to fall onto the exhaust system. 14. Fuel tank filling points must not be located in the passenger compartment, luggage compartment or within an engine compartment. 15. A fuel filler cap must positively locate to the filler neck and incorporate an adequate sealing arrangement so that a fuel leak is not possible. 16. The fuel filler cap must either be tethered to the vehicle or be of a lockable type where the key can only be removed when the cap is locked or an automatically opening and closing, non-removable fuel filler cap

No change for the side repeaters then from the earlier manual. Kind of scary, you would hope that a kit manufacturer would be providing a link to the latest version. Sean |

Hi
You have certainly done a lot of research, one last Q. Do you think the Monza type of cap which is only 1" tall with no sharp edges will be OK for IVA ? Quote:
