Default Bloody compressor

So the other day my compressor packed up so narrowing the fault to the pressure switch I ordered a new one

this morning the new switch arrived so I went to the man cave and set about changing it so removed the old one and started removing the gauge and the outlet

I made the grave error of leaving the pressure unloader with It's lovely split ring till last

Anyway if you find yourself in this situation dont do what i did and slip with the spanner you could end up like this

anyway 3 hours in a and e and a day wasted not to mention the screaming at the wife like my arm falling off
