i made mine with ply and a lot of threded bares to aline the mounts and keep the boards straight and square.
was easy on the front but got a bit moor complicated when i got to the rear. the boards needed shaping round the rear tub, seat backs and tunnel walst leaving enough meet to keep them ridged. only time will tell but thay are all ok with a ruler. |

I uses a couple of laminate floor planks to make my jigs for the front and rear. Worked pretty well, you do need to jig saw them to fit around the rear suspension chassis area. I also used plenty of m12 nuts and threaded bar.
Used mine to position the front shock mount as well, although once brackets were welded I realised I couldn't get the threaded bar out and the jigs were stuck , out came the hack saw. |
