Default Chassis rust prevention

Hi,

has anyone given any thought to carrying out a rust prevention treatment to the inside of the chassis tubes during construction? If so, is it considered worth while and what have people used?

To be honest, I wouldn't bother, perhaps with the exception of the lower side rails where there are a lot of rivets. Waxoyl inject after assembly of the chassis frame and paint but just before riveting the side panels.
Do not clean off the 'dirty' coating that is usually inside the tubes as that is good anti-corrosion stuff that gets put on during the manufacturing process.
