Sierra track rod ends position
Hi everyone,
Are my track rod ends in the right position: inserted into the uprights from bellow as on the donor (Sierra donor - Sierra front uprights - Sierra track rod ends)? IMG_2170_1.JPG Thank you.

TT, do you know what's the function of the the triangular protrusion on the rod end? Even with 15" rims it's pretty close to the wheel.

Cost : Little as possible. Thanks : To those who by their generosity my build has progressed. Its a handmade sports car not a flaming kit car !!! If at first you dont succeed,avoid skydiving... No parachute require to freefall,only if you want to do it twice.

a sierra TRE has off set when viewed from above the track rod should be offset to the rear of the car it alows extra clearance iirc
my aftermarket ones have L & R forged in and thay also match up the tang bits look like there there to aid mass manifacture so forged blanks can be mounted/clamped quickly for machining

Seen TRE's put on the wrong sides on a Volvo I tested,carves inner rims to bits.
