Default Wishbone adjuster nuts

Am I right in thinking that the camber adjuster on the wishbones at the back need to have a locking nut of some kind for iva? If so can anyone advise what size it is (I think its something like M18?) and not having the car or book infront of me at work, I can't remember if there's something similar at the front so I'd need 4 nuts in total? I'd like to find em on ebay today to get them before the weekend to fit them while I've got the wheels off to fit my body panels

It's not needed at the rear as it can't rotate.

If you do put them on the rear they will stop any small movement of the adjuster against the threads in the wishbone. Might lead to a knocking on the as the threads loosen up.

Rear - M20 x 2.5
Front - M18 x 1.5

Half buts are better.

Ok well I think I'll put them on just to be on the safe side. Will these do the trick from a stainless grade point of view and the right type that you're refering to?

They are fine Brian even though the M18 are expensive.

We usually get them supplied with the drag links. Get them from Rally Designs but buy in bulk for a bit of discount. You can buy them each for £6.50 + Vat or give them a ring and they might sell you a pair of half nuts on their own.

Do you know if they're right handed? Came across these which are a bit more reasonable?

A pack of 5 M18 X1.5 half nuts can be had a tad cheaper here.

M18 half nuts

You could always share the cost with another builder

Did have some spare ones here but have passed them on to other builders on the forum
