Default sierra propshaft

I got my donor bits from another member who sold up but I cant seem to find the bit that goes into the gearbox, the short bit at front. Do I need it if I am buying new one? Do they need old prop in exchange when buying replacement?

I got mine from dunning and fairbank, all new components. I've still got my chopped up one in the garage.

I just bought mine from kitspares
I gave them the size measured from gearbox to diff and it fits perfectly.
