Adjustable Coilover Shocks - Build your own
For those who want to build their own adjustable coil over shocks at a fraction the cost of commercial ones, I had posted a "how to" thread with pictures under my user/nickname Grumpy here;

Thanks guys
Mike, ZAR6600.00 is what the cheapest Gaz set of four cost here. I built my set of four adjustable coilovers (Gabriel gas shocks used) complete with springs for only ZAR1260.00 or exactly GBP100.00 using your exchange rate. A saving not to be sniffed at not putting value on the feel good factor having made them yourself. If a shock goes bang, it is just a matter of getting another new gas one, cut of the dust cover, run the groove and re-assemble parts. Cost only ZAR185 or GBP14.68 |
