Default calliper bolts

will 8.8 grade allen bolts be sufficient to hold the callipers and carriers on or do i need higher spec???? cheers guys

I have used the original bolts but sure someone will be along with the info

8.8 is fine but make sure you put locktight on them and take a picture as iva will want proof of locking mechanism if they see new bolts.

Would new bolts with spring washers be acceptable for IVA

not sure on that one the manual states must have a locking mechanism. all the mass car manufactures use thread lock so if its good enough for them its good enough for me

what i do know was not having anything was another item on my fail sheet

what other bolts does this apply to, i have taked on the bolts for the diff and gearbox mounts, and a few other things, do they need locks or is it just the brakes, cheers

Drill and lockwire them,very visible !
