Default Killed it fixed it :( :)

My 7yr old (Toby) had a new school friend round for tea, the wife suggested I show said friend what me and toby were building in the garage..

So I went out to prep it for running the engine..

My first attempt resulted in the unexpected IN GEAR car lurching forwards.

That resolved I then continued to try and start it with two + Daniel the 3yr old very curious Boys. I used my usual starting method ( snif of easy start and the pump pie in a fuel can ) Took a couple of goes and then it cought for about half a turn ..... And that was it...

After checking the plugs, checking for spark ( including grounding the coil manualy ) I concluded there was no spark during running.

Just before callig it quits, I had a look down by the alternator and found that the earlier gear JOLT had dislodged the resting coil, and in turn had nocked the wire from the crank sensor onto the alternator pully. Which had cut through the wire severing the crank signal.

5 minuets later and a temporary wire and I was impressing the 3 boys with the sound of a fire breathing ( well no fire ) 1.8 CVH...
