Electronic speedo
Hi all,
again getting to far ahead (in my head - planning). I want to use an electronic speedo, what are the options?? Do I take a drive from the mechanical output on the gearbox (T9)? If not do I need to blank it? What are others using? |

Usually the simple method of an electronic speedo is a sensor mounted to a front hub to count the rotations and then you programme the speedo with the circumference of the tyre.
I don't think you need to blank the output on the t9. J |

If you mount the sensor on the front hub @ the IVA they wont be able to check the speedo as they only work off the driven wheels unless you have FWD.
