Confused
Hi guys Ive hit a little brick wall and hoping someone can help! I'm building the book spec chassis but using a mx5 so I have the Saturn mods to do rs6 is longer to support the rear diff which is not a problem but I was going to buy the suspension components from Phil but there a different size to the Saturn ones! So do I build the chassis to book spec and use Phil's suspension wishbones and diff cover or do I do the Saturn design rear end use the originally rear diff and try and sort the wishbones myself? Anyone used the mx5 on book spec chassis?

Might be worth asking Gillham Online if he'll do you a set of Saturn wishbones.

Is that what u did or did u make ur own? I see u had the common rear diff arm snapping? Did u manage to get it sorted? What do u think of the diff cover option?

I got my wishbones from Saturn/NTS.
Last I heard Gillham had taken ownership of the Saturn MX5 design and was planning to supply parts and develop it further, so it's probably worth talking to him if you want to go the Saturn route. I did suffer from the dreaded diff arm breakage... but that was due to my terrible idea on how to mount it I've covered about 1000 miles since I replaced the diff and changed from rubber to hard mounting, so it's looking promising! |

Hi I used the Saturn mods and Phil made me the wishbones so I'm confused mine fit okay, but I mounted my diff on poly flex mounts and made a frame with poly flex bushes for the front and its solid I copied what one of the USA boys have done.
