Default U1 Position

Im having trouble deciding where U1 and U2 go in regards to T1 and T2, the picture in the book doesnt seem to have helped me much. Can anyone explain it to more or show me a picture?

Cheers

Hi
U1 and U2 go 275 back from the lower front edge
and 200 back from the top front edge.
They are set at 361 apart at the bottom
measurements taken from fig.4.8 on page 38 of the book

OK this is a good test for me as I have not started my build yet but am trying to get a really good working knowledge of the build process so, please take the following with a pinch of salt. Someone who knows what they are talking about will be along this evening I am sure.

The way I see it if you place U1 and U2 on BR7 180.5mm from the centre line they should hit TR1 and TR2 in the correct place.

I am prepared to be corrected and hope to learn.

Ginge

I'm being sad, I thought 'I might be able to answer this one' and rushed out to the garage to get the book.

I managed to get all the CAD drawings from the forum printed at work today and sold my old CBR 600, I am sooooooo ready to start
