Default Brake pedal pushrod

Hi, I'm leaving the place I work at in a couple of weeks for greener pastures but I'mnot sure if I'll have access to the new places machines and materials so I'm trying to get as many bits made before I leave. One of these bits is the brake pedal push rod, but because I've not got the pedal box done yet I'm not sure how long the 6mm dia rod needs to be yet. So my question is, what's a safe length to leave it so that I can cut it down when I'm ready?

Thanks

Ash

it need to be made to suit the m/c you have and there are a few types fitted to a sierra's

6" would be more than enough

Cool, thanks Baz. I knew it varied but I'm gonna make it too long then cut to suit when I've got the pedal box sorted. 6" it is then :-)

Thanks

Ash
