rear brake re-assembly
Do any of you fine guys have a good photo of the complete rear brake drum backplate with fitted springs, linings and auto adjuster arm at the top. My photo taken just before I dismantled the brakes came out too dark to make out how the hell the adjuster arm fits back on. The brakes are off an '88 2.0L Sapphire. Any help appreciated, Dave.

I've got a few pics, they're just uploading. Might be of some use to you.

Serieslandy: I got a new set of springs for £6.00 from Andrew Page Motor Factors locally, the adjusters were ok. Could have done with new plastic handbrake cable inserts tho as mine seem worn.
I've tried uploading my crappy photo but it says it's above the limit of 97kbs and as I've never uploaded a pic before I'm struggling ! David17, wow what a clear photo, just what I need, I can get it done today now. It seems exactly as mine was before I stripped it down! thanks both, Dave. |
