Default E46 arrives today....

I've been scouring around and pricing up a Haynes Roadster but Sierra parts are becoming prohibitively expensive for budget builds so I've sorted an alternative donor, in this case a 328ci E46 and I plan on using as much of the beemer's hardware as possible to keep the build cost down. I've got a75% chassis and a few other pieces. ...

My problem is a lack of detailed info and designs of other Bravarian based builds, has any one got any advise, designs, pictures, pointers or words of wisdom (other than 'your nuts') to help move this on.

Anything I find will be posted back here and on the Locost Builders site. ...

Go with a pair of sierra uprights ( theres a pair for sale here ) .

That will allow you to use the book front geometry which is very important.

The rear can be a little more fluid in its desigh using the bmw stuff.

TT
