i live in thirsk but my yard is based towards pately bridge and i have to drive over brimham rocks to get there. Got a call this morning saying there are 2 foot drifts so dont even bother trying to get there. How crap is that, i mean iv probably got a week off so il have to do some work on my roadster

a chance to get some real progress at last. Im gonna mate the g'box to the engine and test fit it into the chassis, pics to follow

Awwww .... That must be a real bummer having to stay at home & work on the Roadster

Quite a wintery scene here this morning

Ok I admit it .... Tis only a light covering but if our lane freezes up like it did earlier this year .... I won't be going anywhere in a hurry !!??

Our lane was a sheet of ice for nearly 10 days last Feb

It'll be a good chance for me to find out if my Jeep Grand Cherokee does what it says on the tin ( Souldn't be too bad, got a nice set of mud terrain tyres on her )

I must admit, quite lucky to have such a panoramic landscape to view up on this here ole hill

As so often in life, taken for granted & still hanker to be wealthy enough to live in a nice pad, overlooking the Helford or Fal estuarys

Gets a tad windy here at times

No chance of palm tree's here, the polar bears would use them as scratching post's.

2ft of snow and more falling, thank God for 4x4.

The drive was lined with palms at one time, all fell victim to some kind of disease a few years back & died

The last one at the end of the drive is in its 3rd re-incarnation .... Blooming frost keeps getting to it

Yep we have quite a triopical climate .... That'll be why we can't handle cold weather & crash our cars when faced with an inch of snow !!??
