Default Wishbone tube

Can't find this after searching so please help- what's the best size tube to make wishbones- 25mm dia x 2mm wall? Or can I get away with 16guage wall?

I used 25mm od 3mm wall tubing, they take a fair bit of force and punishment and as they are keeping the wheels attached I didn't want to skimp on wall thickness / strength
Others more learned than I will offer more advice but I broke a Volvo a/r bar on a pothole so erred on the thicker wall tube

Hi,

Did you make sure the tubes are seamless/EWR? That is also very important.

He uses 25x2 EWR tubes. I think we can trust him (personally, I have his wishbones on my Roadster)

Hi vought yes went with erw 1" x 14guage in the end, have been in the unit all weekend making bones, only 3 left to do now, and if I have to make another after that it will be too soon !
