Nose cone alignement
Just a quick question to those who have fitted their nose cone. When the bottom of the nose cone comes to thefront frame does it butt up against the frame or should it lip underneath. Anyphotos would be appreciated

I've gone for the lip underneath. Then I can put a couple of rivnuts in the chassis rail to locate it.

The one i have is a saturn seconds. It is in need of trimming i know but when i offer it up to the front frame it looks like it wont go below which is how i would like it to sit

I found the best bet is for the nose to be warmed up a bit, then offer it up with the lip under the bottom of the front frame and ease it over the top and into position. It is a snug fit but it should go

I've gone for under with my Saturn nose cone.
If I remember rightly it was a bit tight the first time, but after sitting on there for a while it slips over easily now. |

just to be different. mine sat about 3/4 towards the bottom of the lower chassis rail. i trimmed the nose so it rested against the chassis rail then welded a couple of little tags on to the bottom chassis rail to screw the nose into.
its been like that for years now without any problems.
