Sump Shortening, Who has & pics?
Cleaned up my spare 1.8 CVH sump just now ready to have a go at shortening it.
Who has done theirs, any pics? And how did you go about it? TT

I used a CVH 1.8 sump for my Zetec. I left the Zetec oil pickup.

i used a alloy sump from a 1.8 fiesta xr2i (16v) cut a band out the middle around 30mm thick and tig'ed the bottom back on then shortened the std pickup to suit
dropped around .8L including short oil filter |
