As per the title - do you need a relay for the horn? Some diagrams I've seen have them, some don't. I'm just trying to finish off my wiring diagrams - I will share them with everyone one for info/comment when it is ready.
Currently I have relays for -
Horn
Radiator Fan
Dip Beam
Full Beam
Fog Light (to meet IVA)
Megajolt/Coil Power
Flasher Relay
Does that seem a sensible number of relays?
Cheers

Sounds sopt on to me. The horn actually takes quite a lot of current. I have the same number of relays except I don't have one for the Ecu but do have one for the fuel pump, in reality I probably should have one, the original car did.

Cheers guys - fuel pump - of course will add one in :D
Once the diagram is complete I will get it up on here for comments and people to use if they wish.

it would depend on the rating of the switch and cable used in the circuit
you could get rid of some of them
horns dont always have a relay to control them and as the duty cycle is very low (not on for long) you could probly get away without one
most colums earth the horn wire when pushed so a horn has a constent live (even with ign off)
its also an idea to have your brake lights on a perm live to
flashers/hazerd will need one
fuel pumps if thay are inj type (its good to have some form of cut out)
fog lamps dont need one but have to work with the lights on it would depend on the switch rating but a 21w bulb will be drawing 1.5A and thats naff all
if you think of it logicly you could easy get it down to 3-4 relays no trouble
