17" wheels
Anyone see any problems with running 17" wheels? obvoiusly wingstays would have to be modified, would the saturn arches cope andys?
also would the IVA man kick up Carl |
It all depends on what profile tyres you fit!
Big wheels with low profile tyres could be smaller that small wheels with high profile tyres. You can get tyre size calculators all over the internet, in fact most on line tyre retailers have them. |
too big - they will be heavy - try 14 or 15 max. 13 is good but limited tyres. the heavier they are it affects unsprung weight

Gtta be 15 minimum for my rear uprights as on discs,

Also as Mr Henderson correctly pointed out, 17" wheels just mean you'll have some stupidly expensive low profile tyres on, to correct the rolling circumference of the wheel. To highlight the point, my 15" Toyo tyres were £28 each. 17" tyres to give the same profile are £70 each. |
