Default Build Update

Hi All,

Been a while since I have been on forum but thought it was time for an update and as always some questions.

Im building with a friend and we bought Andy B's part built roadster last October. He had done a good job but we decided to go through everything. Andy had used a Granada donor so one of the first things we did was swap to sierra uprights on front and sierra hubs on the back.

After 4/5 months we are ready to start putting everything back together (hoping for first drive in May/June).

Couple of things we could do with help advice on though if possible.

1. Need 2 x rear sierra calipers ?

2. As Andy had used Granada uprights and we have now swapped for sierra we need the correct mushrooms, who does everyone recommend?

3. Andy had completed the copper brake lines, we need the flexis again who has everyone used?

4. The engine is and efi I4 DOHC. The injection plenum is huge any ideas?

We try and work on the project a couple of times a week and i will try and get the first pics on this week.

Cheers and all advice appreciated.

Nik

Some have cut down and rewelded the plenum, some built custom ,some bulged the bonnet.

Calipers from the granada should fit on the rear.

make your own braided flexis ( easy )

Cheers for the help on the parts list.

Phil has sorted some mushrooms at a good price thanks.

Got 2 x recon front and rear calipers at a place in Ossett west yorks

Pads and discs to go with above.

Braided hoses (when they arrive)

Extra efi plenum off the ebay for £ 40.00, where going to try the cut and TIG weld approach.

So just need to complete the reaming of the uprights and it can all go toghether. Got a hand reamer from axmister which has worked ok but is slow going.
